These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website onspotchimney.com (the "Site") and the chimney and vent services (the "Services") provided by On Spot Chimney Cleaning and its locally owned franchise offices ("On Spot," "we," "us"). By using the Site or booking the Services, you agree to these Terms.
On Spot provides chimney sweeping, chimney inspections, creosote removal, dryer vent cleaning, and related maintenance and minor repair services. Services are performed by the locally owned On Spot office serving your area. Each office is independently owned and operated and is responsible for the Services it performs.
Appointments may be requested online or by phone at any hour. Before any work begins, your local office will confirm the scope of work and provide a written estimate; no chargeable work is performed without your approval. You may cancel or reschedule an appointment by contacting your local office; we ask for reasonable notice where possible. We may reschedule visits when conditions make the work unsafe (for example, severe weather affecting roof access).
You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the fireplace, chimney, vents, and related areas of the property, and to confirm you are authorized to request work at that property. Please ensure the fireplace or stove has been cold for at least 24 hours before your appointment. Our technicians may pause or decline work that cannot be performed safely.
We stand behind our work, including our no-mess commitment. If you believe a Service was not performed to the standard described in your service report, notify your local office within 7 days and we will make it right. Inspections reflect the condition of accessible portions of the system at the time of the visit; they are not a warranty of future performance and cannot identify concealed conditions outside the inspection's defined scope.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, On Spot is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Site or Services. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, and nothing affects your statutory consumer rights.
The Site's content — text, graphics, logos, and images — belongs to On Spot Chimney Cleaning or its licensors and may not be reproduced for commercial purposes without permission. You agree not to misuse the Site, interfere with its operation, or submit false or misleading service requests. The Site may link to third-party websites (for example, map directions); we are not responsible for their content or practices.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the state in which the On Spot office that provides your Services operates — Missouri, Texas, or Illinois — without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version, and material changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of the Site or Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
